Uncontrollable Yawning Early Evening - Adrenals?

Hello All,

Well .. Halloween is not far away and thus the parties and " get

togethers " begin. I don't remember if I have ever posted

this " problem " before, but thought I would just throw it out there to

see if anyone else has ever experienced this .. or may know what is

the " cause " ?

It seems that whenever I go out .. to meet family/friends for dinner

or to all of the " get togethers " we go to during the holiday season,

I begin yawning (starting at) anywhere between 6 p.m. - 8 p.m and

CONTINUE for the remainder of the night.

When this happens .. I know it looks very rude and yes, indicates to

me that I am " tired " ? (But I shouldn't be!) It seems that there is

nothing I can do to stop it. These are not small yawns, these are

big ones that produce the tears that roll down the face. And it

happens ALWAYS .. there is never a time that it doesn't. (It is

embarrassing!) Family members used to tease me, telling me that they

were sorry that they bore me so. I think they may have " somewhat "

gotten used to it .. NOW?

I split my Armour up .. once in a.m. and the other between 5-6 p.m.

I also split my Iodoral up (total 50mgs) 25 in the a.m. and 25 at

noon.

Could the " timing " of the Iodoral or Amour be bringing on adrenal

issues that causes yawning? Or .. is there anyone out there that may

have other ideas? I had an appt. with Dr. Brownstein on Sept. 29,

but totally forgot to ask him about this. ;-(

This certainly is nothing (healthwise) earth shattering bad, but

looking around at everyone else, have decided that my big time yawn

response is not normal and I should *try* to do something about it ..?

Thanks,

Glo
