I have heard thatb Home Depot will collect the bulbs from people. I live in So. Ca.

I don't like them because they are much dimmer along with the mercury!

How can you tell which ones don't have mercury?

All the "curly" ones and fluorescent bulbs have Hg. Just look at the package and it will tell you. It usually says "Hg" and not mercury. Kind of hides it.
