A racing heart and heart palpitations are very scary, but not dangerous if they don't last. If it is possible, I recommend getting an iodine loading test, a bromide test, and a thyroid panel of TSH, Free T3 and Free T4 (you can do all of these without a doctor if you need to). That way you will know with certainty what's happening. It's possible you reached sufficiency and your thyroid is working better, but your adrenals need more support ... It's also possible you were having bromide detox symptoms. Are you doing the companion nutrients and salt loading? They help the iodine experience immensely ...Please take a look at some helpful websites:http://www.scribd.com/doc/1959949/IODINE-Solution-to-healthproblemshttp://www.breastcancerchoices.org/iprotocol.htmlhttp://www.naturalthyroidchoices.com/iodine_path_thyroid.htmlhttp://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/Best,Marlena  whether you have reached iodine sufficiency or whether you are still deficient. >> Hello! Thank you! In your links, does it show where to get the tests and

the nutrients that should go along with the iodine? I can check

later, but wondered if you were online now? : 0 )

In the Files section of this group, there are different options listed for how to get the iodine and bromide tests. I go through Dr. Flechas to get the consultation that comes with it, but it is a bit more expensive than from other places where there is no consultation. You can always post your results and try to get answers here. I go through the Canary Club to get my thyroid, adrenals, female hormones, and Vit D tested. You can do it from home by giving saliva samples and bloods spots (by pricking your finger - it's not hard and to me worth it since I am currently doctor-less). There are recommendations for supporting nutrients on 2 of the websites I listed previously: Breast Cancer Choices and Natural Thyroid Choices.:-) Marlena > >> > A racing heart and heart palpitations are very scary, but not > dangerous> > if they don't last. If it is possible, I recommend getting an iodine> > loading test, a bromide test, and a thyroid panel of TSH, Free T3 > and> > Free T4 (you can do all of these without a doctor if you need to). > That> > way you will know with certainty what's happening.
