Guest guest
Yes they are good even w/o iodine - but not necessarily a need for loading. Just 1/2 tsp per day is fine. Steph Re: Loading Test I'm off iodine for two days in anticipation of the doing the loading test on Tuesday. Should I continue with the salt loading and cofactors even if not taking iodine? Thanks. Guest guest
No that's in addition to food. You are physically supplementing that. BarbF PS -- I'll report back with my results. I'll be interested to see what's up with the iodine and the bromide. New MapQuest Local shows what's happening at your destination. Guest guest
It is a test that was developed by Dr. Abraham of Optimox. Some people have reported that insurance paid for it. Mine did not. I had Healthnet Steph loading test > do any of the loading test places accept insurance? > one more question , why can't hospital labs offer this kind of test? > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > >
Guest guest
I had the iodine loading test done at that lab also and I only had results of Iodine no bromine results. Should I had both? Deb
Guest guest
You can do everything you normally do just make sure that if you take a multi normally you don't if it has iodine. It shouldn't be too much different but I like to be conservative. You did stop all iodine 48 hrs or more ago right? Why are you doing the spot? It offers little info other than the amount of iodine you took in within the last 24 hours. Did you add bromide? You can probably add it if you have not - through Hakala labs it is $30 more. Steph Loading Test I am doing the spot & loading test today. I just took my 50 mg. Iodoral and a teaspoon of salt about an hour ago. Can I also have my usual vitamins today, like my vitamin C? Guest guest
Great! You are getting a good bit of info there. If you don't mind posting the results when you get them please do! Guest guest
I would probably avoid them since you know they can be an issue. I doubt they would have a huge impact but this way you are as "pure" as possible. Steph Loading Test I am doing the spot & loading test today. I just took my 50 mg.
