This thread has been extremely helpful... I am very grateful for it!!!

My dog was also diagnosed with cancer this week and was given only a

few weeks to live. I'm trying to learn as much as possible to treat

her alternatively. She's been on organic people food, filtered water,

naturthroid, glucosamine/condroitin and lugol's drops for quite a

while now. I also just purchased the K9 immunity and will add in selenium.

A question for this wise group though... she's also suffering from

severe arthritis pain. The pain seemed to improve after I started her

on Lugol's drops last year, but now it's worse than ever. She's

getting two drops/day in her water, and weighs 20 lbs (used to be 25

lbs, but she has no appetite and is dropping weight fast). She was on

baby aspirin, but I had to stop due to the type of cancer she has. Her

pain seems to have increased since I stopped it. I also tried

homeopathic drops, but that didn't seem to do anything.

Will increasing the Lugol's dose help with her arthritis pain? If yes,

how high do you recommend I go? Any other suggestions to ease her pain?

Thanks so much for your input.

I remember reading that licorice can help arthritis inflammation. It

has cortisone properties, so you'll have the same symptoms of high

cortisone use if you dose too much (excess thirst, uncontrollable

urination....etc...). Yucca is also supposed to have anti-inflammatory

properties. Is it possible that the cancer has spread to the bones?

Unless the filtered water is reversed osmosis, then it is quite likely

it still has floride in it. A lot of bottled water is just city-water

filtered and bottled.
