Guest guest
Hello all.Wednesday the 20th, at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), is an enormous stem cell research conference. This has been an ongoing project, and it will be very exciting to have so many speakers, and so much access to ask questions. I have been in contact with a professor in the molecular biological sciences there that I have known since I was quite young, and he has worked tremendously hard to set up this conference, and get so many diverse speakers. I really applaud his efforts. It is also sad that Reeve had to leave this place before he got to see his own efforts pay off. This conference is all about education, and intended to inform rather than bludgeon people with scientific hyperbole to convince them of unproven medical therapies--it's all about reality and what we hope to accomplish (mostly RESEARCH to find out what the little critters actually do). Well . . . there actually IS some exciting breakthroughs on the horizon, but let's not jump just yet. [sorry, yeah . . . "jump" was the wrong word in this forum] I included some links below to the information, and I intend to record the entire conference and upload it to a webpage for all to have access to. I'll post again when it is available, and the web address.Everyone have a great week, and I wish you all much relief.- Torrihttp://www.bio.uci.edu/alumni/stemcell-program.html http://www.bio.uci.edu/alumni/stemcell.htmlskedloeView Public ProfileSend a private message to skedloeSend email to skedloeFind all posts by skedloeAdd skedloe to Your Buddy List #2 Today, 12:08 PM salpalsally Distinguished Community Member Join Date: Mar 2004Locati
