I've been on this board for a few months. I've seen a lot of posts stating that there are using LDN and felt much better compared to the CRAB crap. This is great to here but I don't see anything on your doctor's reaction. This is the info we need out there. Is anyone's doctor tracking the results? Information like that would be a big boost if it got around. It would prove that LDN works and maybe convert the none believers. Don't get me wrong, all the info is good as it motivates me to do it. As soon as I talk to Dr. next week, I hope to start on it.

You need to keep in mind that many of the doc who are prescribing LDN are the ones who believe in it to begin with. The ones who don't believe in it, don't want to believe in it no matter what. They will use the 'placebo effect' or any other means to poo-poo its use. Without the proven scientific data they have a hard time believing in anything. The proof is in the puddin' so-to-speak just isn't enough for them. (Most of them) It would be wonderful if mainstream traditional medicine would welcome LDN, but I'm not holding my breath!

You won't have any problems with Dr since he obviously already believes in it. If you read back in the archives, you will find that some docs want their patients to sign a release for them in order to prescribe it. Some won't period for legal reasons. Some just flat refuse to discuss it. I was lucky. Mine said that since it wouldn't hurt me, I had nothing to lose.

I know what my Dr. thinks He thinks that as long as I am not hurting myself with this regimen then go for it!

He hasn't seen me dancing yet, no not even walking good, but he has seen my attitude change, due to better.... no wait that should be GREAT bladder control, and no more nueropathic pain at all. I suppose that if more people would do way better then he would tell it too others, but so far we are all just keeping on with life.

Probably if there were more RRMSers then that would be different as they respond better by and large, but for now we are mostly all in the SP or PP mode.

The RRMSers are still all taking Rebif or Copax etc.and so their Dr.s think (mistakenly too I might add)everything is fine.

The only doctor's reaction I can share is my doctor's surprise at my increase in leg and grip strength, and my new doctor's surprise at the return of sensation in my feet and legs. My chart indicated a serious lack of sensation and his testing showed great improvement.

I have no recent MRI's for a "before" so there is no point in having another for comparison.
