Guest guest
I just got the results back from my ferritin levels and they are down to 13 (20-200) which from what I've read is a result of taking the iodine....I don't think that my doctor will be impressed that the iodine has done this. I've been reading through the posts and read to take B6 with ferritin to help store it. I can't believe how much money I'm spending on supplements - it makes me feel so darn selfish and cross....I've never bought supplements and now I feel like a chemist shop. It just seems so wrong to be pumping myself full of pills. Having said that, watching my mum getting pumped full of chemo and all these trial drugs for her breast cancer is by far worse! Sat with her yesterday while she had an IV drip of calcium (or something or other....), I guess that's not as bad as the glowing chemo drugs though. (feeling stressed..and tearful.....that time of the month, year.....I need to lift up my eyes.) I read Steph that your childrens ferritin went down too and you were thinking of supplementing them. Are you doing that?
