A few days prior to me starting, I got sick. I also had one or two new minor symptoms, maybe due to the fact that I was sick and off of Betaseron for a few weeks. Did you know that you can nourish the thyroid naturally? Most good lines of vitamins/supplements have something to help with this. It won't happen overnight, but stick with it, and your thyroid can work efficiently most likely. Allergies will/can cause the problems you have described. Do you, by chance, know what you may be allergic to? I have read about old symptoms reoccurring while starting LDN. Maybe this is a positive thing. As far as progression goes, it does happen in some (less than more). Do you think you were in an exacerbation when you started? Have you considered trying a different filler? Dam this disease! So many questions, not enough answers! Hang in there! Marcie (I am PPMS and do feel like LDN has stopped my progression. I was very progressed to begin with)

Have the allergy and thyroiditis treated and if that doesn't help then look at the problem possibly being MS related. Bren
Guest guest
Bren, If symptoms have increased or new ones appeared with a very low dosage of LDN, who says a higher dosage would be better? I've been on the absolute minimum for less than 2 months. My symptoms are turning more toward what I had at MS diagnosis 10 years ago. I know I was already in an exacerbated conditon before starting LDN. I welcome your input. Thanks, > > > > I have multiple sclerosis and just started on 3mg of LDN two weeks > > ago today. Guest guest
, Dr. Bihari usually recommends 4.5mg if one is starting LDN during an exacerbation. The extra punch 4.5mg gives I guess. Bren
Guest guest
Mycrazy. My question is, isnt the LDN supposed to stop the onset of new symptoms? Yes. Am I having trouble because I'm still sick? It is hard to say but probably. Or should I change my dosage? What is the dose? Or should I just give the LDN more time? Yes.
