Hi ,

In my personal opinion, I don't think that's near enough. The problem with mag though, is that it can give you a lot of "digestive" problems. As I mentioned, I use the transdermal, and consequently have no digestive issues.

I use 20 sprays of mag oil in the morning and 20 in the evening. (I read that there is 18mgs of mag in each spray.) So .. that's 540mgs in the a.m.and 540mgs in the p.m. I love my mag oil .. I don't think I would ever go back to the capsule/pill form of magnesium.

Again .. just my thoughts ..

Best,

Glo

Hi Steph:

I would like your opinion on something. I went to see my ND a couple of weeks ago. I had been feeling well, except my heart felt like it was racing from 6pm to about 9pm. each day for the past few days. The only thing I had done differently was up my dose of Iodoral from 25mgs. to 37.5. The doctor suggested that I lower my Armour from 180mgs. to 150. He also expressed some concern about me taking that much Iodoral. He is a big supporter of Dr. Brownstein so I thought he would know more about the whole bromide issue. He had suggested 12.5mg to help my thyroid when I first met with him a little of a yr. ago.

I also asked him if getting my temps up to 98.6 was a big deal since the most mine have risen is to 97.6 but that is not even every day. Most days my temps avg. 97.1. He said that it is not such a big deal if I am feeling well. I am wondering what that tells us if our temps do not go up. Is it that our thyroid is not functioning the way it should?

Back to the racing heart. I lowered the dose of Armour, it did not help. I then lowered the Iodoral to 25mgs., did not help. I finally stopped the Iodoral this week and am still on the 150mgs. of Armour. My heart finally stopped racing.

I do intend to begin the Iodoral again next week. I read on this site that some people pulse dose or take a break from it. I am finding this helpful. I am still doing the salt loading and taking the other supplements you suggested even though I stopped the Iodoral this week. Is that correct? When I start up again do you think I should continue where I left off or begin with 12.5mgs. and go from there?

Thanks for any advice you can offer. I am still trying to learn about all of this.

Thanks for your opinion Glory. I am trying to do all this on a budget and haven't really figured it all out yet. I know that some people have mentioned where to buy Iodoral, but I don't know where to buy the supplements. Right now I am buying most of them from my ND's office. It is convenient and I don't have to pay shipping, but I have no idea if the ones I am taking are the best ones for me or are they just the ones I can afford right now.

As for my Vit C, I just bought it from the drug store and then I read on here that the ascorbic acid is not the best kind to use. Once again I have so much to learn and have to decide what is the most important to spend my money on.

Hi ,

I don't have a very big budget either. I just use powdered Mg as it is

cheaper than pills. At first it gave me loose stools, but I guess I

got used to it because I can take the whole 1/4 tsp now without

problems. I would try the cheaper option first and see if it works

before you lay out big bucks for fancy stuff.

I use Lugol's because it costs 1/3 as much as Iodoral. I use powedred

ascorbic acid, without additives like acerola which give me hives.

Works great, I just take a lot. I suppose some bioflavinoids would be

good some day if I can afford that.

Magnesium is easily "used up". I have my husband on 400 mg / day. If you drink soda then each can will pull out 400 mgs from your body. I use the transdermal spray as well.

You can get a product called BalanCe from www.vrp.com which is magnesium, potassium and Vit C all together and I think it is about $13. Do 2-4 scoops a day. It takes a while to build up bowel tolerance.

Steph, I just ordered this product. It was $16.95, but that still seemed reasonable to me. Once I start taking this should I stop taking the Tri-Spartate, which has calcium, magnesium and potassium in it?

Thanks,

Hello !

I'm excited to announce that I've created a half gallon of Magnesium

Oil for about two dollars. I obtained 50# bag of MgCl2*6H20. Called

MAG. From ACE Hardware.

I found it available from ACE online and ordered from our local

store. Shipping was as much as the 50# bag of MAG ($29.00) It's sold

as a non toxic ice melter for roads...etc. It has a Green star

purity label...and toxicity is just a bit more than Vit.C and less

toxic than Baking Soda. It is used in fish aquariums (saltwater), to

grow corals and this is where my research began...on a forum

discussing how the fish are very healthy with the addition of

MgCl2*6H20 in the tank. I experimented with bathing in the salt

which was nice. I used 2 c. salts in tub of warm water.

When I first began making the Magnesium " oil " I followed an ORMUS

recipe...and precipitated a white lotion (Virgins Milk or Prima Mata

in the old alchemic texts)with Sodium Hydroxide (caustic soda).

Orbitally Re-arranged Monotomic Elements drop out and become a thick

milky white with this process. Our list member here, Graham, posted

about this recently, and I have him to thank for prompting this

exploration. I might say also that the " lotion " was made with Dead

Sea Salts and not the MAG salt (which is 46% Mg2 and has a little

Calcium chloride, Potassium Chloride and Sodium Chloride).

Early this week a client came for massage, and was excited to bring a

bottle of Mag Oil she bought online. It was clear, and I scratched

my head wondering how it was made. I tried numerous google searches

for the recipe changing keywords and finally ended up with a sketch

of the recipe on a cancer forum. I followed the process and ended up

with a product that looks, feels, and " behaves " as the oil my client

purchased online does. It is " supersaturated Magnesium " . Just MgCl2

and distilled water...heated...in a one to one ratio.

There may be those selling a " superior " product online though, my

humble attempt is to appeal to those like myself who live on a

shoestring budget. I have used this product for almost a month

now...along with Lugols, (6 drops and pulse dosing,) and co facors.

No more leg cramps, heart palps, or aching muscles. Energy is better

than ever too.

It is my belief that the world is hungry for simple measures that are

affordable, and easy to use. I've no plan to go into buisiness with

this discovery...but , rather, will share with all those I touch.

Love and good health to all...

Lani L. Lila

P.S. Just tried Tulsi tea yesterday for the first time. It worked

wonderfully, and instantly on detox symptoms. I will not be without

this wonderful herb (you can grow easily too), now having tried a cup.

PSS. There are reports of the over-harvesting of the Dead Sea having

very negative impacts. We must consider the rapid drop in sea levels

too, when purchasing Dead Sea products. (Google Dead Sea Works LTD

for more....)

Hi Lani

Your new magnesium stuff sounds interesting. What do the numbers mean

in the mag you bought? I just wondered if you bought pure magnesium

chloride, if it would do the same thing? I would think that if the

product you bought was good enough for marine aquariums it must be

pretty good. Some of those marine fish seem to die easily if the

water isn't just right.

After reading an old advert for 'crookes iodine oil' from 1952, and

the way it reduced pains, I wondered about adding iodine to the

magnesium lotion as well? Maybe adding the iodine before the caustic

soda. As I understand it, the ormus recipe that uses dead sea salt to

make magnesium lotion is supposed to break down the minerals into a

single atom (monoatomic or monatomic) form that makes it more

powerful somehow.

Keep experimenting, Graham

Ooooh. Spoken like a true chemist or chemically inclined

person! Thanks for that. I think a lot of this stuff is way

overpriced but have not taken the time to do the research.
