Lugol's iodine above 2.2% is actually illegal in the U.S. Alpha

Omega Labs in Eduador sells 7% Lugol's solution, but you need to

check with them to see if they will ship it to you. At one time,

they said they would not ship to the U.S., but check again. You're

right - they're prices are fantastic.

Lugol’s iodine IS LEGAL in the U.S. in 5% and

7%, just not in quantities over 1 oz at a time, or you have to find a place

that will sell the larger quantities that is willing to file the necessary

paperwork. You can easily buy it on the internet, just do a search! J.Crow is

one of the best prices for the 1 oz. quantity.

How about contacting that company. They should know about import issues.

Buying Lugols Out of the country

I found a website that sells assorted health products. One of which is lugols at 7%, also prices are more then reasonable. The company is based outside of the US. Any opinions about buying outside the country? Any import problems? Best prices on lugols?

I took a chance and ordered it - 8oz bottle (we are talking about

the same company from Ecuador) my sister would take half the bottle.

I emailed them but so far no response. I put it on my cc so any

problems the money won't be lost. I don't remember reading anything

on the website that said they wouldn't ship to US but I am aware of

the regulations. I'll see what happens.
