I believe it is stated on the label of Nature's Own bread that it is

not bromated, which is the reason I buy that bread. But if your

grocery store has a bakery, their stuff may be bromated. I shop at

Ukrops and they have a fabulous bakery, but I noticed on their pizza

dough label they use bromide as a conditioner.

I started to read the labels too, Pepperridge Farms does not use

bromine in it's products. I don't know if it's all their bread or

just some types, so far what I bought does not contain bromine. Also

I just read that Gatorade and Mountain Dew/soda also contain bromine.
