Guest guest
Bren, Thanks for the input. I am going to have a visit with Dr. about this. I do not use CC unless it is asked for or ordered by the MD. If this is the reason, I can certainly remedy that. I have been compounding LDN for nearly 4 years using pure naltrexone and what ever filler is requested. I have not EVER heard that my compounds were subpotent or not consistant. Dr. frequently requests calcium carbonate, but I also use Avicel and all the other fillers requested. I have a call in to Dr. Bahari to see what the deal is and when I learn I will post it.> Wayne Loveland, R.Ph.> LaCrosse, WI>===========The calcium carbonate may be the problem. There have been some of us, including myself to have no effect of LDN mixed with CC. I had been on lactose and LDN and was doing great but because I thought lactose was something I might want to avoid on Atkins diet I switched to calcium carbonate. I immediately started going down hill. My symptoms started to return and then I learned that CC can sometimes get packed too tight in the capsule and cause LDN to be worthless. I switched back to lactose and all has been fantastic since. This was all done at the same pharmacy so I know what was happening. There have been others out there to have the same problem with CC mixed with LDN. I brought up the CC problem to Dr. Bihari in our phone consultation because this sort of thing could cost a cancer patient his or her life if the LDN is worthless mixed with CC. I have no idea why your pharmacy was removed from the list but it could be the CC usage. Bren
