If you are taking LDN, then you must be getting it filled by a compounding pharmacist. Also, 4.5mg of Naltrexone (or less) is such a small measurement that it has to have a filler mixed with it in order to fill the capsule. Fillers are lactose, corn starch, Avicel, or acidophilous. Some get calcium, but lately there has been reason to not use this one.

PS - Good luck. Keep your chin up!

If you did your home work then you are fine

This pill is made by a compounding pharmacist that has read the info at the site below.by using pure naltrexone powder,or grinding up Revia to put just 4.5 mgs, which is miniscule, into it.

Now by home work I mean the compounder must use a fast release filler like Acidophilus or Calcium carbonate that isn't packed to tight into the pill. You will have to do a lot of reading of past posts if you want to get it all, or go to www.low dose naltrexone.org and read that.

I hope he has built it before with good results.

I am sorry I couldn't reply faster but my phone line to my ISP must be tied up again.

I may be wrong, but I think the form of calcium filler used in some of my LDN was calcium carbonate, not calcium chloride. Maybe they are the same, but I don't know. Possibly Wayne from The Rx Ctr will see this and respond. Just to be on the safe side, I just received a refill from him using Avicel as the filler. I'll start it tonight. I do need to brag on the efficient service that I have had using this pharmacy. I ordered the refill on the 14th and received it today, the 18th. From WI to TX, that's not too shabby!

that and that is how I take or should I say took for months now my LDN.

Every night I took two large spoons of Calcium magnesium mix or pills and

water with my LDN. Maybe that is why it stopped working or not.......

I started out with my Cal.Mag in the morn. but then I found out that it

helped me sleep at night if I took it right before bed.

Wyne,

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a difference in calcium carbonate and calcium chloride? Someone had mentioned calcium chloride being used.

Marcie,

Calcium carbonate was the filler used previously. If people have a concern over this being packed too tightly to cause slow release, they could open the capsule and empty the contents into a spoonful of something. You could also gently squeeze the capsule causing some of the contained powder to go up into the cap of the capsule and thereby loosining the contents.

Our postal service did a great job this time. Sometimes WI to TX is very slow.
