Guest guest
Hi , I also have Lyme disease, hypo T and low cortisol, and I feel just the way you do! Mornings are the worst then as the day progresses usually I tend to feel better. I can actually feel the change happen within minutes some days. Like a lifting of fog and clearing of my mind and my attitude even gets happier and my fatigue lifts as well. Very odd. I felt much better earlier this Summer and in the Spring, much more energy, less fatigue and much better sense of well being. My blood work at that time showed optimal thyroid for the first time in a couple years but still low cortisol. I think in my case at least, it helps a lot to at least have one of the two in good range. Now that I am having problems again I think either Thyroid is low again or cortisol is even lower. I have both saliva tests and blood work in the works now so will know more soon. It's tough to gauge what's going on as aren't hypto T and low cortisol symptoms similiar? I can sure feel the drain on my body and mind if any stress is experienced. Even small things like a lively conversation or having to make a phone call! Getting a good night's sleep is a MUST to avoid feeling like crap! Take care, G/MI Hi All, Just wondering if this is typical of thyroid/adrenal problems. During the day I feel the worst....extreme fatigue & extreme brain fog, then in the evening I perk up and actually feel pretty good, it's seems like my body has it's days and nights mixed up. Is this common? Also, just curious what a " hypo voice " is, I have heard a couple of people mention this. Thanks in advance for all the help. Guest guest
Those are classic adrenal / thyroid issues. I used to get " wired / tired " at night. Guest guest
Hi : I was just curious if you are on any thyroid/adrenal meds and at what time of day you take your medication or supplements? Also, I am not quite sure of "hypo voice", but my voice definately has a lower tone to it since I was diagnosed with Hashi's. Even with my thyroid levels good right now, I still have a deep voice. I choose to embrace it now, trying to convince myself it is sounds sultry, lol. Guest guest
the problem with cortef can be a dosing problem. when I first tried cortef the ND told me not to take any past 5pm (15mg total) and this made me feel awful, so I stopped for a year. then I tried it again taking total of 20mg and now take the last dose at bedtime, and feel great. well HC cannot be patented, right? not sure about cortef.
