Guest guest
Amen to that Vicki! You have to fight for your health. Don't let a Dr tell you that there is nothing more. Our bodies are amazing and can heal themselves. My Endo told me that I would have cancer til I died. Well guess what? That didn't happen. I healed with the way that God intended me to eat and live. Glad you got encouraging news! I had those gut issues too. It took a couple of years to get over it but it was worth it! Steph celebrate with me! I just came home from my holistic osteopath and he had lots of testresults for me. I am hypothyroid, as I thought. I have adrenalfatigue, although not completely. Cortisol is okay. I also have apathogen overgrowth, not yeast! oddly enough, in my gut and no goodflora. It will be a big project to improve all of this, but I am veryhappy with the type of things he has prescribed! Oh yes, not makingprogesterone or testosterone either, but fine on estrogen. So I am lots of supplements, bioidentical hormones, Armour, DHEA, andafter Christmas I will be attacking the pathogen and reseeding my gutwith probiotics. My husband is willing to go on the no sugar, nostarch diet with me during these changes too! How awesome is that!Considering that my previous family doctor, who we'd seen for over 20years, had given up on me and said "you know, there's no cure forfibromyalgia or chronic fatigue", today's news is worth celebrating, don't you think? Any of you who have been given-up-on, just don'tgive up on yourself and find another doctor.Joyfully,Vickiin Indiana

Guest guest
I was very happy for you when reading your post! I am curious what the " pathogens " in your intestinal trac or stomach exactly 'are'? The lack of flora can be 'reseeded' with probiotics as you stated, and an improved diet. I ask about what 'pathogens' because I am also curious how this came to be. Very happy for you! Michigan > > I just came home from my holistic osteopath and he had lots of test > results for me. Guest guest
Well, I showed no growth of lactobacillus species and very low growth of bifidobacerium. Oddly enough I am a yogurt eater, almost daily, and yes, the organic ones with active cultures. Strange, I know. I showed two other non-pathogenic streptococcus bacterias, and pseudomonas aeruginosa overgrowth. It is the pathogen that we have to kill, but in doing so it will kill all the bacteria in my gut. Then we will " reseed " with probiotics. The doctor asked if I had been on lots of antibiotics, well, yes, tons. I had strep or tonsilitis as a kid probably three times a year until high school. I also had ear aches regularly. As an adult in the recent past I have caught everything going around to the degree that I haven't been able to attend church in ten years. (I go twice a year to check out my immunity and enjoy worshipping together, then get sick after two days. So I know that I'm not ready for crowds yet.) The idea is that over time the pseudomonas has just taken over with the help of antibiotics, and I just gotten sicker and sicker by not getting nutrition due to leaky gut syndrome. This particular pathogen is in soil, water, on fruits and vegs; they said in the paperwork that it is " common " in bottled water. I assume most healthy people would fight it off. So that's the deal! I'll let you know after the holidays if it is fun to have the " die off " of bacteria. Dr. said I'd feel like I had the flu and be tired, then he laughed and said, well, something like you feel now. What a character! Joy to all, Vicki in Indiana > > > > I just came home from my holistic osteopath and he had lots of test > > results for me. I am hypothyroid, as I thought.
