Guest guest
Hi Sheila, How upsetting for you. This has really put me off from trying night time dosing- I know I said I’d try. I do so enjoy dreaming after so many years of not being aware of dreams while I was on the T4 only. Stenning Subject: Re: Health going downhill again - any ideas? I have to report that I have had to go back to day-time dosing with my Armour. I started getting bad dreams, which upset me during the day, and recently, every single night for a week, I was actually getting terrible night-mares, once actually screaming and waking . >
Guest guest
-Wow Shelia, I am so sorry you have experienced this - also how interesting. I expect like everything else, its a individual thing and we have to give things a try and have the common sense to say when it doesnt work and make the necessary changes. jennyfreeman > I have to report that I have had to go back to day-time dosing with my > Armour. Guest guest
I'm in-between Jane. Some days I take 2 and other days I take 3. I seem to be running OK on this regime. I am not even quite sure why I do this because I don't have any symptoms telling me I need more (or less) - it is just instinct I think and sometimes it depends on what bottle I am opening. I have some 1 1/2 grain tablets and a tub of 1 grain tablets. However, it seems to be working. Our thyroids do not put out the same amount of hormones every day. Luv - Sheila hi sheila; when you changed back to daytime dosing, did you have to increase your armour back up to 3 grains? regards jane > > ___
Guest guest
Please could members write in slightly larger print (a 12 is fine) and with more of a contrast. I am finding it very difficult to read messages that are too small and not defined. Thanks Lilian I'm in-between Jane. Some days I take 2 and other days I take 3. Guest guest
Hi Lillian I have to use the Rich text editor to revert to a size 3 typeface in Times New Roman (in bold ~ as here). I have to use the Rich text editor to revert to a size 3 typeface in Times New Roman (in regular ~ as here). Does this come out OK? Using Windows Explorer 6 doesn't allow me to change typeface easily (Windows 98SE Op System). best wishes Bob >> Please could members write in slightly larger print (a 12 is fine) and with more of a contrast. Guest guest
Apologies Lilian - I just type using the default font and colour. I will try to remember to use a larger more defined font. Guest guest
If you are reading on your own computer and not at the library, you can change settings to make everything appear bigger and clearer. It depends on your operating system how you do this. For example, I have Windows Vista and in the Control Panel there is a section called Ease of Access Centre. Do you have a techie friend or relative who could help with this? Miriam > Please could members write in slightly larger print (a 12 is fine) and with more of a contrast. Guest guest
Hi Lillian, That was interesting. I found that I can change the font on IE6 by using the 'TOOLS' dropdown, then 'Internet Options' then 'Fonts' ~ changed to 'Arial Black' instead of 'Time New Roman' for rendering WEBpages ~ now that make difference for me too. best wishes Bob > > Please could members write in slightly larger print (a 12 is fine)
Guest guest
I have changed from OE to just Outlook, but now, if anybody sends me a message in PLAIN text I have no idea how I can change it to RICH text. If there is anybody out there using Outlook and you know the answer, please tell me what I should do. Guest guest
Lilian, Do you use Internet Explorer? If so, click on the " View " menu on the toolbar (usually at the very top of your computer screen) and go to " text size " . You will be able to choose a larger text size from there. I tested it and it worked on my computer. P > > Please could members write in slightly larger print (a 12 is fine) and with more of a contrast. Guest guest
Hi , My eye condition is because I have had several laser treatments on them for diabetic retinopathy. Fortunately it has only affected reading and close work but stronger spectacles do not help. I think age has something to do with it as well. Lilian I noticed that my eyes improved once my thyroid meds were right- Armour and T3 instead of T4. maybe yours has deteriorated since you stopped Armour?
