Guest guest
Are you a former vegetarian who feels bad about having to give it up for your health? I became a vegetarian because I believed it to be in the best interest of both my own health and global health. When it became apparent that I was wrong about my own health, I felt sad that I could no longer make this contribution to global health. I don't wish to debate what impact meat has on global health in this forum. For me it is a spiritual issue that doesn't belong here. This is a message to people who feel the same(or similar)way: We are not alone! This may be old news to you, but I just found out that the Dalai Lama had the same thing happen to him. He too, chose to resume eating meat for his health. He has an interesting approach to the problem: he eats vegetarian every second day, effectively making him a vegetarian 6 months out of the year. I just thought my fellow former vegetarians might like to know that piece of information. Robin O+Sec
