My endo told me that people WILL feel great on HC tabs, but I never have! Please watch blood sugar while taking it, it has increased mine to borderline diabetic

HelloSheila told me to read your post and it is SO encouraging. Though nowhere near as bad as you, I had come to the end of my tether re: inability to think e.g. cannot remember way to regular haunts like my garage, unable to write intelligible emails and the time it takes me to cook a meal due to my faffing is frightening - thankfully my hubs/guests are always patient! Dr P has also prescribed the cortef route and I started for a few days and thought it improbable that mentally, I was feeling slightly better. I have a supportive GP (but he did not know what armour was when asked) and he was very quizzical about my suggestion of failing adrenals and said of course I would feel great with HC tabs – I showed him my adrenal stress test results and he willingly offered me a blood test saying it would be more accurate (???). Of course I have had to stop all treatment before I do this and am

feeling it – big time – but hopefully I can start again on Monday and will feeling in better shape to meet the two children we are about to adopt on Friday!!!! If it all works then it could not be better timing and I can finally believe that the universe is on my side again!!!Hope you continue to feel better, LLx

Do you belong to freecycle. It is an internet group but you join your local one. People who no longer need things offer them free and you can also ask if you want something. I think you go to www.freecycle.com and then choose your area to join. If not there, then google it and you will find it.

mattresses which must be new, because of the risk of mould.

Nice to hear that its not just me who hasnt felt the benefit of HC yet! I thought I was alone in that one. My temp has just hit 37 tonight, that IS good for me, I took it about 4 times just to check and it was still 37! I usually dont get much above 36.3 and it has been 35 something, so I am seeing that as a good sign like you with your stable temps.

I don't know why he thinks that. I am taking it and am not feelinggreat. It seems I can take all sorts of stuff and nothing affects howI feel day to day. Your temperature may well have risen because the HC is starting

to have some effect.

Im ever hopefull Sheila,something has to start working soon! But it def has risen which I am taking as positive, I have slightly incresed the thyroid too, but still only on 50mcg a day instead of every other day, I find if I try and keep busy and not just sit around all day I dont feel as tired
