Guest guest
Hi http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/dispomim.cgi?id=606391 this site shows some of the problems and where they come from. If you enter the search terms 'diabetes' and 'thyroid' there are some clues about why the thyroid may have begun playing up apart from, perhaps, irregular and badly timed eating arrangements.....either way, known to disrupt thyroid function.....frequent eating throughout the day appears to 'flatten' thyroid output/conversion. Steve Redgrave's wife is a doctor and has helped him with his treatments and therefore with his training, in the past. There is a close link between thyroid dysfunction and diabetes. best wishes Bob > > Hi Bob, > > I knew he was diabetic, but is he hypothyroid as well? Diabetics tend to cope better with sport as I know that the top 15 year old girl swimmer in Britain is diabetic and she is the junior record holder in a number of events! Could of course be that she has been medicated for a number of years and it is no longer an issue for her. > > Thanks >
Guest guest
Oh dear - I see what you mean, I need to get this updated. However, Dr Peatfield has clinics at Crawley every Tuesdays and Thursdays, except when travelling to his other clinics. He is away at the moment at his Malvern Clinic on 19th and 20th so you probably will not hear from him now until after Christmas, though you could try telephoning him when he returns on 01883 623125 Luv - Sheila Hi Shelia, I have emailed Dr P. I can get to Crawley but there are no valid dates showing. Thanks
