The food was off the meter....It had a bread called injera rolled up like a towel, with chicken and veggies, yum! Pulling all the disparate elements together is the injera, the spoongy fermented bread bread it resembles huge crepes a spicy stew of green beans, carrots and cabbage, a mild lamb! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

Guest guest
So why don't you get hold a book of Eygyptian food counts? How can you expect people who obviously aren't eating the same food as you to know what the nutrients are? Ask the people who make/sell you the food and then you'll have your answer. . Guest guest
> What is everyone having for lunch today? Most days I eat the same thing - 2 cups of cooked frozen mixed veggies with ff salad dressing. Plenty of green and yellow veggies with enough starchy vegs (corn) and protein (lima beans) to keep me satisfied. Sue in NJ
Guest guest
I take rice with some miso & vegies. I use the filtered hot water that we have at work. It warms the rice and makes a nice soup broth without having to worry about the broth spilling in travel. Another option: There is a vegie soup concentrate recipe at http://justbento.com/handbook/johbisai/make-your-own-instant-vegetable-soup-concentrate I adjust the vegies to what I have on hand and leave out the tomatoes. It freezes in small quantities and can be thawed and added to just about any grain for flavor. Guest guest
Thanks !I have revamped much of my life over the years, living simpler, more peaceful, more organic. Food is my rub. I am overweight and just can't seem to get control of this area. I don't use a MW at home but when I get to work there isn't another to warm food. Reggie suggested a hot plate and I will look into it. I like the idea of miso, rice, and veggies. Do you mix the hot water with the miso and pour over? Are the veggies cooked? I haven't really jumped into macro except for a few things. I am still reading and learning. I chose to learn about macrobiotics because I felt it was an extension of the simple, clean life I was already choosing. I have had many people tell me to " be careful " as I will get too thin.... HAHHAHA Makes me laugh every time. I can't simple even imagine me too thin. Thank you again for your suggestion. I do have some GF miso, so I will try this.KymOn Wed, Jun 30, 2010 at 9:07 PM, Hart <khart317@...> wrote:  I take rice with some miso & vegies.
