Guest guest
Quite a number of us have written exactly the type of letter you propose. We've either received no response at all, or a form letter. We've also written to Montel and Oprah Winfrey, trying to get some media attention. No interest from them either, just a kiss off. Maybe our mistake was in using email; maybe we should load them up with real paper mail. We've all talked about how easy it is to hit the "delete" key. An envelope with a sheet of paper is easily disposable, but not nearly as easy to get rid of as an email. I honestly believe that there are enough people in the MS Society who believe in what they’re doing that if they are given enough pressure to fund LDN research, they’ll have to take notice. Guest guest
I think we have to keep trying and keep sending letters....till we get some response....for instance there is pharmaceutical company in Trinidad advertising in all newspapers for MS patients here to register....I think there is something else brewing, not just trying to find out how many people are stricken with MS, but is it feasible for them to bring drugs here, they might have big shock of their lives as not many people can afford here CRAB, because they cannot get medical insurance including me. I am willing to write anywhere, but I do not have any addresses....if a lot of us will write to the same address, I think it has to be noticed. Another note.....I am on BBD...Best Bet Diet, and Dr. Aston Embry is in touch with one of our member and when we have any questions we get answers from him..............this way not all trivial questions are sent, but only those who really need attention. So it would be nice if at least Dr. Bihari's assistant can be contacted for some answers. I understand that Dr. Bihari is busy and it is impossible for him to sit at computer even do some research, I see it with my GP, no way he will research anything on the Internet, her just doesn't have the time, so much for specialized doctors.
