Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, and am currently in that state of 'limbo' where

I am desperately trying to find a cause for the many symptoms I have

suffered over the last 8 months.

So many of them can be attributed to depression/anxiety, but as I

have suffered several bouts over the years, I know that something

else is going on this time and I need to get to the bottom of it.

My TSH & T4 blood tests came back normal (0.85 & 19 respectively), so

my GP has ruled out anything of a thyroid nature already. However,

I'm not convinced and would like to hear from anyone else who might

have endured the following symptoms:

Depression/Anxiety

Type 2 Diabetes (well controlled)

Gum disease

Stage 3 CKD

Facial skin flushed

Itchiness (back) & skin rash (chest)

Dry skin on face

Mild pain & tight feeling in right neck/collarbone area

Feeling of pressure in jaw/right ear

Phlegm build-up in throat

Gastric problems (bloating, flatulence, poor digestion, diarrhoea,

constipation and abdominal pain)

Puffy eyes

Internal `trembling' feeling

Fluctuating weight

Foot pain (sole & arch)

Tongue dryness/soreness/cracking

Frequent mild sore throat

Fatigue

Lightheaded/dizzy

Oily skin (head)- through summer

Sweating less - Through summer

Joint `cracking' & stiffness

• Shoulder (right)

• Spine (mid & lower)

• Feet/big toes

• Hands/fingers

• Wrists

• Elbows

• Hips

• Neck

Muscle & joint pain/spasms

• Thighs (on exercise)

• Calf muscles (on exercise)

• Biceps (on exercise)

• Forearms

• Wrists

• Hands

• Chest

Panic attacks

Heat intolerance - On holiday in July/August 2008

Insomnia

Ligaments sore/weak (ankles/knees)

Muscle twitching

Close-up vision changes

Strange bruising (hand/arms)

Sore glands (neck, under arms)

Reduction in stamina/exercise tolerance

Numbness & tingling (arms/hands/toes)

Feeling cold generally (hands/feet)

Memory & concentration problems

Fingernails hard & lined

Puffiness in ankles

Migraines October 2008 (occasional)

Sorry for the long list, but I would appreciate it if anyone else

could tell me if they have experienced any of these.
