Guest guest
Hi , If you are not taking thyroid meds then this looks like the beginnings of hyper? Maybe a betablocker may help> Stenning thyroid treatment Subject: Re: New results - thoughts please > T3 a bit low for an over range T4 - conversion problem? Do you > feel OK? Although I have lots of niggling symptoms, the main one bothering me as always is my heavy, fuzzy, dizzy head. Plus the last few weeks I've been aware of my heart beating and can feel it in my chest, especially after exertion. But generally speaking, my appetite is good, sleep better than it has been, and I'm not too bad - relatively speaking. But that head prevents me from getting out much and I can't work outside the home because of it, or drive or use public transport, so I am pretty restricted and that makes me very miserable sometimes. Do you think the over range T4 could account for the increased heart awareness? As I don't take any meds at present what can I do to bring it down? Guest guest
Maybe (and sorry I am brain-dead today and cannot remember your history) some support for the adrenals will enable this excessT4 to get converted? And/or a product called T-Convert from Nutri Ltd which helps with conversion?? Mo > > > > > T3 a bit low for an over range T4 - conversion problem? Guest guest
Well you could use the T-Convert while you're deciding which way to go with the adrenal support but it sounds like that is the issue and the quicker you can get your adrenals properly supported the quicker the T3 will get into your cells and the quicker you will be hop-skip-and-jumping your way into the New Year....... Don't forget to get someone to take a snap of this event! Your reply made me smile Mo. I wish! I'm thinking of doing as you say and using the T Convert anyway and then using it alongside whatever I end up taking to support the adrenals. And if by some miracle I find myself hop, skip and jumping into the New Year, I promise to capture it on camera! x

Guest guest
Hi I could possibly be reading it wrong but on Dr Rinds site your blood test pattern fits the 'early' manifestation of Hashis. Not sure if there is any other kind of thyroidtis it may fit. How long is it since you had the antibody test? Maybe worth having another? Just a thought. Hope you get it sorted hon. lotsa luv Dawnx

That thought did occur to me Dawn but I only had my test results last week and both antibodies were negative. I'll have a look at Dr Rind's site again, I don't remember seeing anything about blood test patterns. Thanks x

Guest guest
Hi Go to our website www.tpa-uk.org.uk and click on 'Hyperthyroidism'. Luv - Sheila Hyper? Really? That's interesting. So you can be hyper with high T4 and not only with high T3? I took betablockers some years ago for migraines and they made me feel so awful I had to come off them. I wondered if it was all to do with taking the estrogel, although I hope not, because taking that has restored my short term memory and I have been told to take it for the osteopenia. I'm seeing Dr P again soon so hopefully he'll be able to help me unravel exactly what's going on. I wonder if it's worth a visit to my GP? Thanks again x
