I know there are differing opinions on this, but once upon a time, someone here told me that no matter what, once you find the right time to take your LDN for you, you take it at that time. It was my understanding that LDN works with the body's natural circadian rhythm, and really has nothing to do with what time you go to bed. I know that there was one gentleman who worked the midnight shift and actually took his LDN at 1 a.m., shortly after beginning his work shift. I guess my question here would be that if your body is on a natural cycle (which is why we experience jet lag and total confusion by changing time zones) would we be doing more harm than good to switch the time we take the LDN? Hopefully, someone else will chime in here who knows more than I do, but I know it has been discussed on this forum. Take care, and have a safe trip! Guest guest
Yep, that's me, I take it 1AM most days, but it's in the 9pm-3am Local time. I don't know how many days in a new local time it would matter. Dr. B says LDN has nothing to do with your individual circadian rhythm, that's why even if you are awake through the night, you still take it 9pm-3am Local time. It works in the Pre-Dawn hours, apparently where ever you are. I don't know how that works with travel to different areas though, would be nice to get a definitive answer on that. ----- Original Message ----- From: petessweetheart low dose naltrexone Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2004 13:45 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: time zone change > Saranya,> I'd agree, skip the first day (which some say is good to do once in a while for LDNers) and then get on schedule with the zone you are in.
