Dear ADJ,

I also just started taking LDN but at the 4.5 mg. dose. The thing I notice is

that I am walking better (I do not feel like my right knee is going to give

out), and I am a little less fatigued. But, those two things have made my life

better so be thankful for the small stuff. I keep a calendar everyday and I

put a big 'B' for bad day and " G' for a good day. I have had more G's lately.

Take it easy. Every body is different!

Peace!

VCL

I just started taking LDN (3mg) last Saturday night, 10/23/04.

Then increasing to 4.5 mg after 7 days. I was just wondering and I

know everyone is different but about how long before you notice any

changes. Right now I sleep ok, been getting up about every two -

three hours to urinate. That's normal for me. Had some dry mouth.

Still have everything from before. Stiffness, Spasms. I know 2 days

is not enough but I was just wondering how others reacted.

Thanks.

ADJ

Hi ADJ,

It sounds like your not feeling, WOW, much better and see an immediate

difference. It's hard but try to give it a few weeks before you start to

make an evaluation. It effects all of us differently, but I'm sure all will

agree you need to give it some time. Best of luck to you, I hope things

start to improve!

Try to not be discouraged. I just started LDN 4.5 a few weeks ago and have

decided that the real test will be when I get my next MRI. If lesions are

healed

and things are looking good I'll know its working. I am also doing the Dr.

Swank, Multiple Sclorosis Diet along with anything my MD, ND tells me to do.

He has a lot of ideas of things to help me. However I did feel more energy

immediately after taking the LDN, all else remains the same as I am in the

middle of a new flare up and I know I may be stuck with it. We'll see.

But things take time and we must be patient. For instance, with Dr. Swank's

diet, he says it take a few years before you really know if it is working. I

think it

will be less time with the LDN from what I've been hearing but as my mom

tells me " Be patient " and let it work.

Take care and stay in touch, Alice

Hello ADJ,

i started 03-08-2004 with ldn (4.5 mg).

The first 10 days i noticed nothing.

But after 10 days it started: less tremor,

much more energy, much better mood,

and other little improvements.

All good things, but not everyday.

About 4 days in the week.

Like you said: every person react differently.

But every m.s.-er should try.

The best,

regards, Simon

Hi Raelene,

I read your email asking for compounding pharmacies in Australia and see Wayne L has sent you a list. I live in South Australia and use Greens Pharmacy and they do compound pure Naltrexone powder now. If you would like to send me your private email address perhaps we could correspond, or if you live in SA we could catch up on the phone. Hopefully because I have already been down that road I may be able to help you. I have been on ldn for about 16 months now and have PPMS. Its great that the word is getting out in AUS.

BRAVO !!

Doesn't it feel good to help lift others out of MS misery? It is

efforts like this that will get this drug into the mainstream

standard of care. My husband and I talk about LDN with everyone we

meet. Keep up the good work!
