Hi all,

Been to see Dr P today, what a lovely, kind, and knowledgable man he is!

Some of you may remember me posting a couple of weeks ago saying I felt

really well! Unfortunately that was reallty short lived (tho I didn't

want to post and disappoint those I'd encouraged!), because I very

quickly went toxic and had to stop the armour again...

It seems likely from Dr P's analysis that my deiodinase enzyme is not

working properly or at all, so he has recommended taking a reduced

amount of armour (1 1/2) and to add in cytomel (T3 only). I'm a bit

nervous of this but I feel reassured he will help me all of the way!

He is happy for me to continue taking Pred and indeed he found my BP

was still dropping on standing, and so feels it is the right decision

regardless of my high ASI cortisol results back in May.

Even my v sceptical partner was convinced by what he said, trusts him,

and feels that it was money well spent and that is no mean feat!!!

Anyway just a bit of an update...

Hi Dawn, thank you, I am hoping too - especially after my recent

glimpse of normality!! Am a bit nervy about the T3 - not really sure

why, so glad to hear it is helpful for some...

Can you not get yourself to Dr P at some point?? I bet it would be

worth it...
