Guest guest
ine, I don't know if this will be helpful or not, but... For MS, Dr. Bihari recommends taking 4.5 mg of LDN. About a quarter of us can't tolerate it because we get too stiff, and for us he recommends 3 mg, but no lower. He has no record of LDN preventing disease progression below 3. Also, here are some notes I saved about LDN--some of the information comes from Dr. Bihari himself and some from members of this group: Transient and temporary signs of your M.S. relapsing is to be expected. Any 'old' symptoms that return may be a sign that your body is trying to do some repair work. Dr. Bihari's experience is that naltrexone should be tried for six to nine months before giving up on it. But perhaps the BEST thing I can tell you is that, if you afford it, you should do a phone consultation with Dr. Bihari. It will be the best $500 you have ever spent, and I am not the only one who feels that way. (I'm a patient of his, by the way). His number is 212-929-4196 and his assistant's name is Bill.
