Guest guest
Hi Perhaps Georgina should have joined that forum and mentioned about being hypothyroid and that she has started taking natural thyroid extract and the problem has now gone away and has anybody on that forum considered such a possibility. Things like this must be happening all of the time - and with doctors being quite ignorant about this, they will never get to know there IS something out there that might just help them. Have a great time - and I too hope all goes well here and that I might have some good news for you on your return. Luv - Sheila Hi Sheila, Its unbelievable that doctors see these symptoms along with multiple TSH reading above 4.2, as in my wife's case, and are to ignorant or to scared to make any connection. When her dermatologist told her that there was no known cure she offered her the phone number of a support group, you can only guess at how many of that group could have undiagnosed hypothyroidism. maybe the dermatologist will consider this when my wife goes to see her in April but I would not hold your breath. We go away on Friday for two Weeks, hope all goes well while we're away. Best wishes
