Ezekiel bread is pretty dry for just eating, but it is fine toasted.

Our posts are getting really long. Can somebody please tell me how to

'trim' a post?

Yes, I use Ezekiel bread and have really gotten to like it and appreciate

it. When I first starated eating it, I was sure they made it out of sawdust

and just claimed it was made out of sprouted grains. :o) I make toast with

it in the morning and put olive oil on it instead of butter. At lunch time

I have a sandwich made with one piece of bread, homemade mayonnaise and

either tuna or chicken.

Sometimes for supper I eat half of a baked sweet potato for supper or a

fourth of an acorn squash along with my serving of meat. In the summer we

eat a lot of yellow squash and zuchinni, boiled with onions and seasoned

with olive oil. In the early spring we eat a LOT of asparagus. Also, we

have fresh green beans when we can find good ones.

For snacks I usually have half of a banana and a few nuts, either walnuts,

pecans or almonds. Or, if I am really hungry, I toast some Ezekiel bread

and put almond butter on it.

I have multiple chemical sensitivity so I eat very few things out of cans

and literally nothing out of jars or boxes. Lunch meat is out of the

question for me.

We have not been able to locate any Essene Bread so I don't know how it

would be. I have heard of it, but don't now anything about it....yet.

I am able to tolerate one and a half to two pieces of fruit per day. Pear,

grapefruit, fresh pineapple and banana are the ones I eat most often.

Yes, I think so.  It seemed very dry to me.  However, since it is the only bread

I can eat, I have developed a taste for it and am ever so thankful to have it.

I do not use it any more due to wheat.

But when I did I fond the raisin Ezekiel the only one to use.

Try it toasted with sharp cheddar on it:-)

I have about ten friends i converted to that snack, and now they

enjoy it and I do not:-)

Namaste,

Irene
