Guest guest
Guys, I was all convinced that this is true as well and now I've got serious doubts. A friend of mine is a not famous but well-known cancer researcher in the bay area. Did fellowships both at Harvard and Stanford. I had only known him for a month when I got diagnosed with my colon cancer 10/07. Once shock faded and I sprung into action, I pulled together a long list of questions about cancer, which seem to be controversial and I called him up to get competent, serious, unbiased, answers from someone who is the go-to guy for this topic. One of them was indeed if biopsies and surgeries cause cancer to spread. His answer came without pause, it was a strong and confident "no." He's familiar with the controversy and is sad about it but he said unless you work in a lab, with tumors and cancers and cancer cells all day long and watch them in all types of environments, manipulated in all sorts of ways - with your own eyes - you would not know what or whom to believe but it's such an easy myth to dispell that he wishes there were a way to do it without inviting every one to his lab to see with their own eyes! So, I really believe that he knows what he's talking about and YET theres SO much information out there about the opposite being true, that I really don't know which way to go on this one! How do you decide? Angel Re: Dr. Brownstein is on vacation and I have questions Posted by: "janiebeau" JanieBea@... janiebeau Tue Jul 15, 2008 7:19 pm (PDT) Duke, I just read quite a bit on biopsies. That did it for me. NO biopsies EVER for me. Makes me sad that I didn't know years ago, what I have been learning in the past year. I believe my mother could have beat the cancer crap. Thanks again.Janie>> Janie:> Search the web for info about biopies spreading cancer. Mine followed the needle path right to the skin surface.> Duke Back to top Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post
