Guest guest
and possibly your oestrogen as well Dawn? The way I am seeing it is that (apart from betablockers), other meds you are taking may be lowering melatonin (not sure if you are still on Prozac or I am confusing you with someone else?). In either case, the slight disruption will lower melatonin and may also be caused by it. Just wondering if my theory for me may apply to you somewhat as well. For me, it seems that, my theory so far anyway (backed up by recent research): * betablocker wiped out my melatonin such as it was as sleep disruption would have already made it quite low. * non-existent melatonin would have encouraged high levels of oestrogen. * which would have caused SHBH to bind thyroid hormones and VOILA! to where I find myself today. Seriously hypoT with a seriously high FT3 and no hyper as the Cytomel is simply floating around in my blood unable to get to its target cells. Would this ring any bells for you too Dawn?
