Guest guest
If you didn't crush it, it would make it through you stomach with little irritation. Is there any way you can swallow it? You swallow food that is larger than these pills. Steph how to take my Lugols/Iodoral - questions hi iodine family! i'm sandi blair, haven't posted much lately. i'm thyroidless. i've been doing classic anxiety syndrome which includes dry mouth and i take Ativan. my pills were getting stuck, resulting in gastritis & an endoscopy (for the 2nd time in 1 year) . my new endo doc is allowing me to go back onto Armour Thyroid after having gotten my excessively high Free T3 back down to normal. and he says Iodine is fine with him as well. yay! THE PROBLEMS ARE - #1 Lugols may be too strong on my tummy according to sam and steph, i really like to take it in juice each morning. i've purhased Iodoral and crushed them but the outer coating doesn't crush up and is a bit flakey, still a bit ROUGH in applesauce. i take all my medication in liquid form, in applesauce or yogurt or in chewable form. any WONDERFUL suggestions from THE EXPERTS? sincerely, sandi
Guest guest
My adult son, who also cannot swallow pills, has a little trick to get a pill down. He " hides " the pill in a " ball " of bread and kind of scrunches it up around the pill, then swallows it. Guest guest
Sandi: How does the subject line "how to take my Lugols/Iodoral - questionsþ" and you comments in the below email tie together. This makes it very hard for people who search the messages to locate what they are looking for. Do you think that in the future you could change the subject information to come a little closer to what is going to be in your email. By the way your not the only one that does this. Guest guest
Because she started the thread and it was her comment on what she decided to do. Please don't be critical as there are a lot of people who are not feeling well and don't remember to be so detailed.
