Type O is the oldest blood type, and therefore, the most common. Guest guest Posted October 24, 2008 Report Share Posted October 24, 2008 How interesting! My mother is " O " and I think she has been hypothyroid for most of her life which has never been diagnosed. I am the eldest of 3 girls and I am A pos but also ?? hypo t. My sister (44) who is 3 yrs younger than me has never been well - constant colds, swollen glands etc, her two daughters same & one has ovarian cysts. My youngest sister (36) has Downs Syndrome/autism and I believe iodine def is possibly linked to this. I would love to know more about this and also links to Downs Syndrome. Many thanks. Guest guest Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 Hi: I'm a newby to this theory, but I would encourage anyone in learning more to read Dr. D'Adamo's " Eat Right for Your Type. " (see page 90). Progressive medicine is leaning toward INDIVIDUAL treatment protocols, which makes sense to me. Although I don't believe our DNA (i.e. blood type) is necessarily our destiny, it seems it is wise to see it as part of the puzzle or bigger picture.
