Guest guest
I wish ! I probably wouldn't have diabetes if I were my best weight instead after a year on LDN I am still 60 lbs. overweight. I think it would be better to try and gain weight than to try to loose it.I am envious as research has shown that people that are on a starvation type diet live longer than us well fed types. Guest guest
I lost 9 lbs from April 03 til November 03 and have leveled off there. Was 135 when I started LDN, dropped down to 124 and settled at 126. Haven't weighed myself in a while though but the last few times I did was 126-127. Are you still losing, or have you leveled off at 110-114? ----- Original Message ----- From: lindafahrbach low dose naltrexone Sent: Wednesday, November 03, 2004 12:16 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Weight Loss on LDN I have been taking 4.5 mg. Guest guest
I lost weight in the beginning, then stopped. Now I am again losing, but it is a deliberate effort to reach a more reasonable weight. For several months I was mildly nauseated, which may have been responsible for the initial weight loss. Guest guest
Do a google search on "Cinnamon+blood sugar" 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon mixed in olive oil increases your cells ability to handle sugar 20 fold. Very important with insulin resistance. Guest guest
, It is so weird that you posted this about your weight, because although I have only been on ldn for 2.5 weeks, I also have lost a little. I am 5'5 weigh 114lbs, even though I have not weighed myself I can tell I have lost because my jeans are getting baggy. Usually when this happens, I can count on an attack, but now I dont. So yes, already I have lost weight. karen _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! Guest guest
I started LDN 18 months ago, at that time I was 150 pounds. I went down to 120 pounds. I had also started the Roy Swank diet at that time. I am not on any special diet right now except that I try to eat healthy. I am between 120 to 125 pounds. Up and down but never back to my old weight. I think that a lot of it was the LDN. Guest guest
Hmmm.... I lost 11 lbs from the day I started til November when I weighed myself on one of those 'really accurate' scales. I was 135 when I started, 124 in November '03 and 126 a few months later when I checked, as well as a few other times this year. Not sure where I am at the moment, but probably around the same. I lost it, levelled off, and here I am. I think my metabolism returned to it's 'former self', I remember telling people I think my metabolism slowed down in the early 90s, I think I was at my heaviest in early 1993, which, gee, seems to be when I can trace back annual flares! RE: [low dose naltrexone] Weight Loss on LDN i lost 10 over the first 2 months and the GP told me not to lose any more.....I'm not sure I can eat any more than I do now DeLores decrosby@... -----Original Message-----From: Cinders [mailto:allentownusa@...] Sent: Thursday, December 16, 2004 4:52 PMlow dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Weight Loss on LDNI lost quite a bit of weight pretty quick at first, I think mostly cause I was slightly queezy and my energy incease meant I was more active than I had been in a very long time. A total of 55+ lbs in about 6 months. After a while it slowed down, but the I continue to loose a little (3 - 5 pounds) every month. (Which is great since I still have 100+ to loose!) My GP is very happy with me for that.
