Guest guest
A physical therapist is a wealth of knowledge for passive exercizes for you...also they almost all have hand bikes which will get your heart rate up. If you can't walk though, I don't know that you will be able to even create the heartrate necessary to increase metabolism and burn calories. Why is it you can't walk? --- ________________________________ From: curingem <mncjl@...> spinal problems Sent: Friday, July 3, 2009 1:14:19 PM Subject: Passive Exercise Since I can't exercise or walk. Guest guest
> Hi! In addition to chronic pain issues with neck and degenerative disc disease, spondylosis, etcc.. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and a rare disorder called erythromelalgia. www.erythromelalgia.org www.aboutus.org/Erythromelalgia.org It is very painful! I have been to the Mayo Clinic, Occupational Therapy and many trials with PT over the past decade and have not found any exercise that works for me. I live in a rural area, so I thought maybe there were some ideas out there that others have tried. I wish they had those passive exercise machines they use to use in the 80's! I hope this helps you to help me come up with some ideas. mary > A physical therapist is a wealth of knowledge for passive exercizes for you...also they almost all have hand bikes which will get your heart rate up. Guest guest
hi , You can't walk? I can barely walk, have to be medicated to do so though so I guess I can't walk. Not going to stop taking my meds to find out either..lol.. I am curious to the replies you will get for excercizing since I was thinking of the same thing. I can't lift any weights either. Maybe if I am laying down but I am not sure because it might put pressure on my lower back. gentle hugs, Coleen ________________________________ From: Babbitt <tpowell1977@...> spinal problems Sent: Sunday, July 5, 2009 3:39:31 PM Subject: Re: Passive Exercise A physical therapist is a wealth of knowledge for passive exercizes for you...also they almost all have hand bikes which will get your heart rate up.
