treating Graves disease with iodine

Hi,I was diagnosed with Graves disease (a form of hyperthyroidism) eight years ago when i was fifteen. I have not done the radio iodine treatment or the surgery, and instead have been treating my disease through a variety of natropathic means and a low dose of Tapozole. I am now looking into doing a high dose iodine treatment, which is the reason for my joining this group.

I am hoping to connect with others who may be able to give me advice about treating hyperthyroidism with iodine. There is a lot of mixed information about iodine and hyperthyroidism and I am hesitant to do the treatment before I have heard more positive information about the outcome of such a treatment.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on the matter, especially if there is anyone who has actually successfully treated Graves disease with iodine.Thanks,Lucia
