Guest guest
I'd like to find a good naturopath as well. In Mid or Eastern MI, not too far S. I'm in Lapeer county. /MI Does anyone know of a naturopath who understands the iodine/thyroid issue in the mid Michigan area? Guest guest
Thanks Steph!! I feel good about this list, as I made an appt. with Dr Kovalcik a couple of days ago. I see her Monday. I was agonizing between her and Dr Lepor, as he is only about 5 miles way. I chose Dr K as the Downing clinic is less pricey for initial vists and follow up. Plus a female may relate better for hormone issues etc. She does PAP tests and thermograms, and I want to begin the thermograms in place of mammos. Guest guest
>>Plus a female may relate better for hormone issues etc. << Don’t assume a woman will be better for womanly things. I tried that with my first gyenocologist. When it came time to give birth, they inflicted everything possible on me, just because they were busy and wanted to go home to supper. I switched to a male group, and have gotten great help from them in births and on all womanly issues. Donna in IL
Guest guest
In case anyone is interested, Lepor also has a website. www.drLepor.meta-ehealth.com. Guest guest
I guess I'm assuming this about her as she is into alternative treatments, so would RX bio identicals or natural remedies instead of pharmaceutical junk! A gyno is just another run of the mill Dr. I had one that suggested a hysterectomy cause I had Ovarian cysts!! I RAN from that woman. Found a very nice male Gyno who said no big deal, recheck in a few weeks and voila they were gone! He also knew the previous woman and said good I didn't stay with her. I try to stick with alternative thinking drs now, thus my choice to see this Dr Kovalcik.
