The best way to break down 50mg tablets

Hi, new boy here.

I,m hoping to get some 50mg tablets soon (revia). I understand that

you just put them in (distilled) water then leave them in the

fridge,then syringe off required amount.

Questions...........1)how long will it stay 'active'. 2) are there

any better ways? for example splitting up the tablets .
