Guest guest
I need your wisdom. My ex failed to order my 16 year old son's LDN on time, and he went 3 days without it. (He has been taking it since June and doing wonderfully.) He said he could definitely tell he wasn't taking it over the weekend - he said he felt light headed and dizzy. Now, last night he started experiencing numbness in his hand and foot, and today he has blurred vision, so he is home from school. He only missed 3 days worth, and started back up on it Monday night. Has this ever happened to anyone by missing it? Did resuming the LDN minimize the attack, or did you have to seek further medical treatment? We are in between neuros right now, have an appointment with a new one later this month, so I am trying to decide what to do if it does get worse. He has always had to have i.v. steroids for severe exacerbations in the past, and I understand that he can't take his LDN if this happens. Any advice would be welcome! Thank you! Guest guest
I tried a three day break once and what a mistake it has now taken me a full month to recover to my pre-break levels. This was a good learning experience for you as once we are on LDN we are permanently on LDN. If LDN works for you then we know what happens when we go off of it. I think of my brother (in a nursing home) and sister in law (buried now) and thank God that I found LDN when I did. no way would I ,even if I could afford to, do any injectable drug. Especially after the new findings on Copaxone were released. Just keep giving your son his nightly dose of LDN. and he will recouver. Hi, I forgot my LDN on a 6 day trip. during that time I got worse and even had new symptome (weakness in my right ). Now a month later I can say today that I am almost back to where I was before I forgot the LDN. I had a very good strong day today. I feel I will continu to improve. I will not forget to take LDN again, ever. Johanne F
Guest guest
You say the house is 'bone dry'? On 9/27/07, beandippyone <Beandippy@...> wrote: > > Thanks and . Guest guest
This is a very scarey situation especially with a child. There is definitily a mold problem if you can see it and you child is sick. Luckily my daughter didn't get ill but she did have ear infections from 6 to 13 years old and that is the time we lived in the house. My husband didn't get ill until we moved into another moldy place and he had seizures and a blood clot. I was the first one to get ill and have suffered for 10 years now. You don't want to mess with this. I know it is so hard to move. We have moved 5 times since I became ill and lived with inlaws for a year last year, and it was a nightmare. They hated my illness. Just take these warnings very seriously. Were you pregnant in this house? The hard part is you are in your mom's house, so that makes it even more difficult. God bless you and educate your husband so he can see how serious this illness can be. Sometimes it takes a while for the spouse to get it but eventually they usually have no choice, cuz there is so much illness. We certainly don't want to scare you to death but these are the facts. > > > > Thanks and . Yes,I'd like to leave if I could. Only > > problem is I have nowhere to go. Guest guest
Glor, It's not that they weren't able to tell me where it was coming from; it's that they never did any follow-up & didn't return calls/emails. Basically, took the money & ran! I have a pretty good idea where it's coming from, so, next company will be put through the wringer b/f I hire them! I know what you mean about feeling like you have to do something; unfortunately, my life is spent cleaning, washing & worrying!! I wish you well, too. Hope we can talk some time; it seems to help the psyche! Take care of yourself & your family!! Hugs, Cheryl

I won't give up though, til I prove what I know in my heart! Hugs, Cheryk
