Re: west thyroid and armour? no 2 grain sizes what to do?

Hi Carol - and how are you these days. Not heard from you in a

long time. I do hope you are feeling much better now.

There has been a problem for the past year in getting the higher

grains of Armour and we keep getting told this is because they are

reformulating the tablets and having manufacturing problems - and that there

was also difficulty in getting the raw material for a while, but we are now

told the higher grains will be available at the beginning of next year. All of

the pharmaceutical companies who sell Armour are having the same difficulty and

because of this, patients are trying the other brands such as Westhroid and

Nature Throid - but the rush for these is also causing a shortage of their

tablets. You can still get the 1 grain tablets from Afshin but that does make

it more expensive. I don't believe you can get any 2 grain or higher

grain tablets of Armour anywhere. I wish I knew the truth why.

How are you doing on Westhroid?

thyroid, as there was a

problem with armour.Does anyone know where i can get the 2 grain sizes

as ashfin does not have any.

Hi there Sheila

I am doing fine on westhyroid the only problem is the grain size now.

I see ashfin has the 1.5 armour, has it all gone up in price.. I

wonder if they are going to do away with the larger sizes? Ah well am

at the point of not being able to wait any longer and will have to

order some.

Been having computer problems, but now all fixed New computer cost a

bomb.

Been so busy lately had no time to come on here, we had a long

holiday to Hong Kong, Australia, and Bali, got out of Bali just

before they shot the bombers.

This is wierd, why all the size problem with NTH?

I wanted to try Westhroid if Armour got harder to get, what is ashfin?
