Things have seemed fine - energy was the first thing to show up - like the next day!But then I got the flu - fever turned the heat on in my head and I got my dizzy-
Guest guest
Not me. I don't think I got, what I would consider, 'sick' until November (7 months) after my son came home with something he picked up at school. It only lasted a few days though and I remember thinking it was the Quickest sick I ever got. ----- Original Message ----- From: low dose naltrexone Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 00:36 Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] Re: two weeks on ldn How many of you have come down with the flu, or something that seemed like the flu, 2 or 3 weeks after starting on LDN??? Guest guest
LDN is working so well for Colby. I'm so happy for him! I wish we had a better way to reach out to the young people just diagnosed. LDN may well be able to give many of them back their lives, like it has for Colby. Bad enough that we can't get many of our doctors on board for the adults who are interested in trying the LDN way, it's terrible that more kids aren't given the opportunity for a kinder medication than the Avonex/Rebif/Betaseron routine. I'm wondering if those of us who have experienced a cold or flu like illness shortly after starting LDN were really having something of a Herxheimer reaction as our bodies began fighting some kind of long standing infection. I ALWAYS have what seems to be a flare up when I take antibiotics and am wondering if the illness two or three weeks after starting LDN is a Herx caused by the boost the LDN gives us. Interesting topic. My son has not been sick anywhere near as much as he usually is since starting LDN in June. He has had a very minor cold here and there, but seems to "throw" them off much quicker than he did while using the interferons.
Guest guest
I have been on LDN now for just over a year and I can honestly say that in that time I have not been sick once,I am so happy with my enhanced immune system that I won't even get the flu shot this year, Reg ----- Original Message ----- From: low dose naltrexone Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 00:36 Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] Re: two weeks on ldn How many of you have come down with the flu, or something that seemed like the flu, 2 or 3 weeks after starting on LDN??? ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here

Guest guest
JT, I haven't come down with a cold or the flu for the last year. I have something in my house called a Venta Airwasher and it really removes all the bad little bugs and viruses that invade my house. And, there are many because my husband is a deputy jailer and the inmates bring in every conceivable illness there is. I have had MS for 27 years and will not take a flu shot becqause that causes an exacerbation for me. I have been on the LDN over 2 weeks now and I feel fine VCL hi ......I did......when I first started last year.....a real nasty one......not a sniff since.......Dave.........a cold and miserable..
