Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have been away from this site for a few months and have been reading all the posts lately and it made me wonder something... How do you know if your pharmacy is mixing it correct. My pharmacist mixes it for me and me alone so she does not have the background. I know that she gets the 50mg Revia and crushes it and mixes it with calcium into 1.5mg tabs. Is this OK??? using the Revia tabs allows me to have it covered from insurance due to it has a din # Please help! Thanks
Guest guest
My compounder has to make mine out of Revia also but he knows the proper formula as he know what amount of pure Revia is in each pill and what amount of filler so that when he mixes it down for me every capsule is at the same amount. I guess tha's why he gets the big bucks huh Mine is also covered under Blue Cross that way. I guess I know that it is being mixed correctly cause when I stopped taking it for three days I was going downhill fast. Things are slowly getting better now so I will cut back to 3.0 mgs as even 4.5 is too much yet for me, again another proof that there is the proper amount in the pills as the amount of pills I take is consistently too much (as in stiffness and sleeplessness) or too little (too many washroom trips) almost immediately!
