Guest guest
Hi I have some nutri thyroid that you can have, its basically a hormone free glandualar supplement. I have opened it but only used a few, its been in my cupboard and not opened for a while. It provides all the essential nutrients for the thyroid i think but with no hormones. It is from yournutrionshop too. Let me know if you would like it and its yours free of charge. Does Dr P think you dont need thyroid hormones then? Good evening people,I braved the m40,m25 and m23 today to visit Dr P. All well worth the journey, he's quite amazing and very thorough, but I'm shattered. Quick couple of questions for you all, he diagnoses a primary thyroid problem with adrenal issues playing a major role.I have a treatment plan with a shopping list to get to work on. Can anybody advise me, nutri thyroid, what is it again? I have to start my first six week plan with that and thyro complex, nax, coq10, ginseng/liquorice tincture, plus vit c. Also, is nutritionshop the most economic place to buy all of these do you know? Thanks so much as usual.Enjoy you evening,x
Guest guest
That's very kind of you , canI get back to you. He does think I need thyroid hormone, but am going to spend the first six weeks trying to put everything in place to help them work properly. You may remember, I was having probs increasing to only one grain. In my case, he feels, adrenal issues are much of the problem, which is why I was having trouble absorbing Armour. Thanks again , M x > Hi > I have some nutri thyroid that you can have, its basically a hormone free glandualar supplement. Guest guest
Thats fine , just let me know either way I dont mind, its just seems a waste to keep it when I dont use it. I am shortly going to be starting armour so fingers crossed for me! I am hoping 4 months on HC should have given my adrenals the support they need and I hope I do better on armour than I have on thyroxine. Take care and lets hope we will both soon be on the right track! Guest guest
Hi Dr Peatfield recommends that you take NAE with your HC and many do so. This is because the NAE contain the vitamins and minerals that help support the adrenals nutritionally which the HC does not. Just wondered why you stopped taking them? Guest guest
Hi Sheila I was offering some Nutri Thyroid, not NAE. I took the Nutri thyroid for a short while but not sure it agreed with me. I dont take NAE anymore but I do take a high potency B vit complex, vit C and selenium along with the HC, I found buying all the supplements quite expensive and now I am buying armour its put the cost up even more! Guest guest
You can buy it much more cheaply at www.iherb.com - in fact, this pharmacy has supplements at the best prices. They are excellent. Luv - Sheila Hi , The Co q 10 is quite an expensive supplement at the time I got mine it was on offer from Holland & Barrett, about half price I think.
