Guest guest
Just read it Sheila, how tragic and sad. Infact it hard to comprehend, puts our problems into perspective, at least we can go out and live a reasonably normal life, that poor woman cant. Hope she gets the help she needs and soon. My friends husband has chronic fatigue and he has been told he will have to put up with it, they cant do anything and it will go as quickly as it came, but he is nowhere near in the state this woman is http://www.dailymai l.co.uk/health/ article-393915/ Trapped-bed- 14-years- chronic-fatigue. html
Guest guest
Hi there - yes tragic - especially as this is now known to be an adrenal/thyroid issue - it is my opinion - the field of endocrinology have a lot to answer for not being up on the latest findings that could help people such as this young girl. Funnily enough I see she had a TB jab and then got ill - I got ill after my TB jab at 15 - and saw my health take a nose dive for years after that. This is a genuine illness not all in the mind as some think - the reason I know that for sure - my Mother's GP had it and was in a wheelchair for over 7 years - he worked and worked whilst having flu and then suddenly got ill - wore out his adrenals by working with the flu? - he finally recovered by taking vitamins and minerals and resting - it was a long haul for him though. I have come to the conclusion that once people get plied with drugs for their symptoms these symptoms are then exacerbated to such an extent that the illness gets much worse as the drugs cause their own problems - if in hindsight she had gone down the natural route with expert help on the endo site she would possibly have got better. Shame - a great shame - another victim of outdated medical knowledge. When oh when are the medical profession going to catch up with those who are at the cutting edge such as Dr P et al. regards Mandy
