Hi Kathi,

Did they say why it was denied? If not, I would ask them for a detailed

explanation and start from there. I think that it is horrible that they did

this. I hope that it works out for you.

understand why it got to climb so high before they stopped it. i think it

really stinks, but i have a feeling this is going to be how my appeal will go

for my short term disability payments. i was feeling fine, then my fingers

start to hurt. next thing i knew my knuckles were read and my temp shot up.

of the charges) i am going to see what the dr that ordered it is going to

suggest. he was the one who told them to keep seeing me until they quit

paying. man i feel horrible. my fingers, wrist, ankles, toes, back, and now

I am dealing with similar issues with wc. They won't pay for my medication

and they are under court order to do so. Can you call your attorney and get

some

help with all this. They just do this stuff to get you upset in the hopes you

will go away. Hope things get better for you.

Thank you for your kind words. PT is something that we started, and had the

insurance refuse to pay, so now we go as a " cash " patient.

We are working with a neurologist as well as an orthopedic surgeon, and have

been advised to get a 2nd opinion if surgery is necessary. Do you have a

favorite excercise that you would recomend?

, yes, as a favorite exercise I recommend Aquatics. (medically

supervised of course, by physical therapists) ~ G

Dick,

When I was your son's age I had physical therapy 3X a week, arms and

legs. I hated it, but it did help me. I also continued walking in sand,

swimming, biking and horsebackriding. I'm 51 now and still very active,

not requiring assistive devices or anything. I participate in an

Aquatics Circuit program 3 times a week, plus work, travel, etc. I also

still walk in sand, bike and swim.
