Guest guest
Hey Reg, As far as I know (and my brother is a cop- was also a vice and swat/tactical officer), and from personal experience (i used to import some of my meds from Australia when I lived on Guam), it is perfectly legal to import up to a 90 day supply of medication to/from canada and several other countries. As long as it is not a controlled substance (read: narcotic) there is nothing illegal about it. And as long as you have a valid, legal prescription it should not be held by customs. At least not in theory. I have only ever had one package seized and that was several years ago- and they eventually released it because it was just asthma medication. So hopefully, come Nov. 2nd the U.S. gov't will have a different plan in place for those of us that would like to purchase our medications from countries that manufacture them for less. (Not that I'm pushing a political agenda or anything) ;-) Good health to all, Lara
