Guest guest
Well, friends, I've been off line for a few months. Just couldn't keep up with " life " . But the news is that while my first loading test last spring was at 84%, and Dr. Flechas thought I had a NIS defect due to a long history with bromide....this recent loading test showed 64 % sufficiency which confirms his NIS theory. He thinks I will need 50 mg Iodoral daily for 3 to 4 years. I am still very ill with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia, but I have found a holistic osteopath to treat me! He is checking for possible leaky-gut, possible hypothyroid (using T3 and T4), and also other hormones that are lacking. I think he will be checking for subclinical infections (ie. mycoplasm) and heavy metal toxicities. He says he won't give up until I do. (unlike my previous doctor) I am very hopeful that I can get to feeling and functioning better. And I had to share that joy with those of you who truly understand! Joyfully, Vicki in Indiana
