Dr P yesterday

Hi all

saw the very remakable Dr P yesterday for the first time. What a wonderful man - an example of what doctors really should be. He's convinced the really bad times (pics) are adrenal crashes and wants me to start treatment as soon as I've done the tests and before I get the results. I showed him the 'good' and 'bad' pics and he asked who the bad ones were - he was a little 'gobsmaked' to learn they were me. he explained (although I can't remember the details) how the outer part of the adenals being affected can lead to too much testosterone and therefore too much 'male' hair.

One of the reasons he is so sure is because of my past, I'm not going into details but I experienced extreme abuse, fear and terror over many years, spreading from early childhood into adulthood inflicted by 'persons' and when I eventually spoke up, lost every member of my family. The shock and grief was akin to multple deaths.

I have worked on myself emotionally and confronted some of 'them', and have inwardly forgiven but can see now after seeing Dr P that no amount of self help and councelling etc would get me right because the damage is actually physical. But now comes the really exciting part and I am very emotional as i type; as I've done the self healing emotional work surely now that the adrenals can be helped I really could be on the road to recovery. The thyroid has been affected too but candida has been ruled out. he thinks the bi monthly fatigue could also be adrenals. Need kelp for iodine. May need HC and lastly will test sex hormones. I did forget to ask him if injury to the neck (strangulation) would damage the thyroid.

It's been such a comfort being in this group and i've learned so much
