Iosol is only iodine, right? you don't want to use iodine/iodide?

Hello just curious, I know we each have our individual toxic load, but for those of you who are on 50-100mg did it take months, years??? I am on iosol becuase lugols makes my throat close up and my body shut down. I am up to 20 mg and feel body aches and very tired. I'm so willing to push through to help my hashi's, adrenal fatigue and FBD but i'd like to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Since cleaning up my diet, supplementing properly, and cleansing I feel like the last 7 years has just been non stop detox with mini mini breaks-Ugh!!!

All I can say is that I'm going to stop complaining! I have only

cleaned up my diet and been detoxing for 6 months, so I'm going to

stand up and give you applause for going at this for 7 years!

No its iodine combined w/ small amounts of amonium iodide

I here you Steph. I am constantly learning and reseting my health

potential and everytime I begin something new I peel away another

layer of toxicity. I just turned 30 and pretty much since 16 I have

had constant health challenges and I joke with my friends and tell

them " when I hit 35 and over it will probably be the best years of my

life -ill look younger, have more energy, a sharper brain and then

all of you guys who give me crap about being so health concious will

finally start feeling all the ways you have ignored and neglected

your bodies. Funny how life works- mines completly half ass backwords-

but the good part is i think the worst is over

How do you - how does one - know for shure whether the symptoms you have are from detoxing or simply a disease of sorts? 4 years sounds so outrageously long to be detoxing! Seriously! I'm sure you've cleaned up your environment, your diet, your habits tremendously since you began this regime and perhaps even before - so, what in heaven's name could be poisoning you so severely and constantly that you are feeling detox symptoms for 4 years?

I have been detoxing for almost 4 years now. I keep thinking there can't be much more left. But each time I try something new I start again. UGH!Steph

Steph...did you keep detoxing each time you worked your way closer to 100 mg. I'm on 50mg right now, still detoxing, and think I will have to up again soon. I did a skin patch test yesterday just to see if I was near sufficiency and it was gone in about 2 hours. Oops. Guess I have a ways to go.

No I never detoxed on 50 mgs. I didn't work up to 100 mgs. I just did it. After 8 days on 100 mgs I started detoxing.

Would you mind sharing all the methylator supporters you are taking to increase

your iodine?

I am taking all the 'supporting nutrients' recommended for

orthoiodosupplementation ... but

is there more that helps one absorb the iodine and detox?
